I know things have been a bit quiet around here as of late, that’s completely my fault! I thought to spice things up a bit I would start a new series about a few of my favourites that I’m obsessing about in the moment. Also, please tell me that someone saw the title and started singing the beloved song from “The Sound of Music”? I can’t stop now.
So to start off this week, here we go!
1.Moxie’s White Chocolate Brownie. Oh heavenly white chocolate goodness. I have had a love/hate relationship with this brownie since I discovered it years ago. Love it because oh my goodness, you won’t believe the yumminess that is packed into this teensy little square. Hate it because it’s gone so quickly. Plus, Unfortunately there isn’t a Moxie’s super close to me anymore, so I had to find another alternative. ENTER this recipe! This allows you to recreate the yumminess that is the White Chocolate Brownie from the comfort of your own home, in your pj’s! Plus, no one will judge you if you eat the whole tin…which definitely will happen! Win, win, win. Make sure you have the vanilla ice cream to put on top though, the combination of the warm brownie and the melting puddle of ice cream. Mm. Mm. Mm. Am I drooling? No. Maybe. Probably…Yes. Don’t judge me. Also, don’t tell me the calorie count…I’d rather live in denial.
2. My Canon EOS 6 D. I have only had this baby for two days, and my goodness—I love it. I still have so much to learn about it, but I’m loving learning! The full-framed goodness is just too much to handle. You have to understand where my excitement comes from–I was coming from a Canon Rebel T3 that I bought as a starter pack 3 years ago on Boxing Day. It came with a couple kit lenses, and truly when I bought it I thought it would just be better for taking selfies with. Cause everyone needs a good selfie camera, right? I appreciated my T3 for all that it gave me—especially, pushing me to learn to shoot on manual. While everyone says “it’s not about the gear, it’s about what you can do with it”…to which I completely agree by the way; I truly felt I was ready for a new challenge in my camera gear. In comes the 6 D. I am so looking forward to our adventures together!
3. Minecraft Date Nights with my Hubby. Call it super lame—I don’t care. Our nights together are our time to relax from the day. Lately, our little—God bless him, has discovered he can scream when the tiniest little thing doesn’t go his way, so we need the time to just regroup and get our sanity back. The endless possibilities in Minecraft make it really quite addictive. Recently, I got quite ambitious and wanted to build the castle in Arendelle from Frozen. Needless to say, it did not go well…I think I spent about 3 hours on it before I gave up and went to kill Zombies instead. For those that don’t know, the zombies in Minecraft are really quite cute. Otherwise I would be too scared to play. Although I’m not gonna lie, if a zombie comes up behind me in minecraft and starts touch-attacking me, I do have a tiny scream fit. If nothing else, the music will at least relax you…as long as you stay out of the Nether.
Thanks for reading thus far! Stay tuned, more favourites coming at ya in the future!
